We have one of the most modern pistachio processing plants in Spain. Our state-of-the-art machinery addresses the deficiencies in the traditional weighing and drying processes by employing an automated system. This system uses an automaton to place incoming batches of pistachios from the field into different cells, ensuring optimal drying by turning the pistachios and signaling when they reach the perfect moisture level. Additionally, our facility features advanced machinery for sorting open and closed pistachios, high-precision optical sorting for open pistachios, and one of the best shellers on the market for extracting the kernels from closed and stained pistachios.

Process

The entire process is fully digitalized, allowing for cost savings and maximum control over batches, waste, and final production.

We also use a modified atmosphere packaging system rich in CO2/N2. This method is ideal for storing food products, maintaining maximum quality, and preventing the development of aerobic microorganisms and insects inside the big bags. This type of preservation significantly extends the product’s shelf life.
